Our classes are designed with the goal of ease of functional movement for each person’s individual ability level.

Each class is limited to 8 students to ensure that you will receive personal attention in a supportive group environment. We also offer private and duet sessions by appointment. Our Re-Balance Pilates classes were developed by the studio’s founder, Donna Parise Byrne PT PRC NCPT. At Pilates Central Wellness, we integrate the concepts of the Postural Restoration Institute with the principles of Joseph Pilates. Neurologically, physiologically and habitually, the human body is asymmetrical. We appreciate the normal asymmetry of the human body, especially the diaphragm and its impact on the body and the predictable patterns the asymmetry dictates.

Classes are offered on the Allegro Reformer, the EXO Chair and with the jump board. We also have a Recorded PRI Pilates class subscription, with unlimited access to our full recorded class library.

Our instructors are available for Private, Duet, and Private Small Group Pilates sessions using the reformer, EXO chair, Trapeze table and more. Contact us to schedule your private session.

Reformer Pilates

At Pilates Central Wellness, we use spring driven machines to provide challenging, low-impact strengthening exercise. Emphasis is placed on the body’s core musculature with a focus on proper form, safety and alignment.

For group classes, if you do not have any or have very little Pilates experience, we require all first-time Reformer Pilates and Equipment Class clients to complete an Evaluation prior to attending your first class at Pilates Central Wellness. After the Introduction, your instructor will either clear you for class or recommend further private sessions. We encourage all new clients to begin with one of our Intro Packages to set you up for success.

If you have some Pilates experience but have never taken a class at our studio, we offer an Intro to Re-Balance Pilates class to familiarize you with the concepts and cues we use in our Re-Balance Pilates practice. You can also do an Evaluation to more fully be introduced to our practice in an individualized, private session.

Recorded PRI Pilates Class Subscription

From the comfort of your home, engage in a recorded workout taught by Donna Parise Bryne, PT. No equipment or prior experience is required for the virtual subscription, though basic props such as a chair, a stretchy band or a ball may be used. Learn more about our recorded class subscription here.
